Nestled in the hills of Mougins, Le Manoir is a private 1,200 sqm estate set on 28 acres (about 11 hectares) of century-old Italian gardens. The property brings together a main bastide and several satellite bastidons within grounds laid out with cypress avenues, rose gardens, quatrefoil stone fountains and mirror pools punctuated by bronze sculptures by Lynn Chadwick.

The main bastide offers 8 en-suite bedrooms, including a vast master suite with a four-poster bed, a dressing room in glass cabinets and a marble bathroom enhanced by a Murano chandelier. Each guest suite has its own individual bathroom in marble, slate or dressed with signature botanical wallpaper, featuring an experience shower, freestanding bathtub or private hammam.

On the ground floor, two grand dining rooms follow one after the other: the first seats 16 guests around a long table beneath a crystal chandelier before a signature wall fresco, while the second opens onto the garden through tall picture windows under a gilded Murano chandelier. The main lounge is arranged around a historic carved-stone fireplace (cast-iron plaque engraved 1721) and a wall of antique faience plates. The professional kitchen is fitted with two stainless-steel La Cornue ranges and a marble island.

The lower level, dedicated to wellness and leisure, brings together a vaulted stone-and-brick wine cellar for fine vintages, a hammam with a black-mosaic experience shower, a fully equipped massage room, a game room with a blue banquette and a private bar with mirrored shelves showcasing a collection of rare spirits and crystal decanters.

Outdoors, the 11-hectare Italian grounds unfold with a sun-drenched heated pool, a pool house set beneath wisteria arches, rows of century-old cypresses, stone fountains, gravelled paths and rose gardens. A private red-clay tennis court is tucked away just below, and a terraced kitchen garden with a greenhouse supplies the table with organic vegetables.
