The essentials in 30 seconds
100% of our villa catalogue includes a private pool. Available types: infinity pools with sea view (the pinnacle), contemporary mirror pools, lagoon pools with submerged beach (families), covered pools for off-season residents. Heating from May to October as standard, year-round on 80% of the catalogue. Pricing: villas for 4-6 people with pool 2,800-15,000 EUR/week depending on season, villas for 10-14 people 12,000-90,000 EUR/week. Daily maintenance service included, child safety optional.
Why a private pool makes all the difference
In Cannes, the public beaches are crowded from June to September, the private beaches cost 80-180 EUR/day for two sun loungers, and hotel pools are often shared with 200 other guests. A villa with a private pool offers you:
- Unlimited swimming at any time (often until midnight with underwater lighting)
- Total privacy for children, celebrities or anyone seeking discretion
- Lounger space for the whole household with no booking or queueing
- Poolside meals thanks to the summer kitchen and pool house often included
- Private parties until the small hours without disturbing neighbours
- Safe children's activities away from the crowds at the beach
In September/October, the sea is still warm (21-23°C) BUT mornings can be cool. A pool heated to 28°C lets you swim from 8am, while the sea remains chilly until midday. That is the real added value of a pool in late season.

- Typical dimensions: 15-22m x 6-10m
- Featured in 20% of our catalogue (family villas in Mougins, Le Cannet)

Common mistakes when renting a villa with pool
Mistake 1: under-estimating the importance of heating
An unheated pool in Cannes is only usable from June to September. Outside that window, you are paying for nothing. Verify 'pool heated year-round' before booking.
Mistake 2: forgetting child safety
The legal alarm is mandatory but insufficient for very young children. Ask for a cover or fence in addition if children are under 8.
Mistake 3: not asking for exact dimensions
A 'large pool' in a photo could be 6m x 3m. To really swim, aim for 12m+ in length. For families, 15m+ with a children's zone.
Mistake 4: ignoring orientation and sun exposure
A north-facing pool or one shaded by trees means little time in the sun. Ask for photos at different times of day.
The pool does not make the villa. But a quality villa without a private pool in Cannes in summer means missing 50% of its potential. With a pool, the stay becomes a true retreat.
